The Cold Moon, rising on December 15, 2024, marked the final full moon of the year. This moon takes its name from Native American and European traditions, reflecting the deepening chill of winter and the long, frosty nights that characterize December.
Glowing with icy brilliance, the Cold Moon illuminated the dark sky, casting silver light across frozen landscapes. Its crisp, serene glow symbolized stillness, reflection, and closure—a time to pause and embrace the quiet beauty of winter’s onset.
